PASU Co-Chairs
PASU is led by two Co-Chairs who ensure that the organization remains committed to its mission statement and the communities it serves. The PASU Co-Chairs oversee and work with the seven committees and manage the overall work carried out by its members. They are responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all PASU events, including weekly leadership team meetings. In addition, the PASU Co-chairs are a resource of guidance and mentorship to those seeking to make meaningful contributions to PASU's mission. They strive to build community spirit and encourage collaboration with other communities all while having fun! Please do not hesitate to get in contact with either Co-chair should you ever be interested in working with PASU and its members!
Josh Cobler
My name is Josh Cobler, and I'm one of the PASU co-chairs for the 2019-2020 school year! I was born in Quezon City in the Philippines and I spent most of my life growing up in Dallas, Texas. A member of the Class of 2020, I'm currently majoring in Social & Cultural Anthropology and minoring in Human Rights and European Studies. After being a community service intern my freshman year, a community service co-chair my sophomore year, and a social co-chair my junior year, I'm incredibly excited to help bring PASU's many diverse goals and people together! Aside from PASU, I enjoy taking photos of food, creating Google Alerts for changes in flight prices, and thinking about what my next meal will be.
Edwin Carlos
Hey y'all! My name is Edwin (I like to go by Dwin) and I'm one of your PASU co-chairs this year :) I'm going into my 4th year as a psychology major and education minor, and PASU has played a very special role in my Stanford experience. I was a Kaba intern and co-chair before taking a year off last year, and I'm super excited for all the love and wackiness and community that PASU can bring! I'm always down to smash (melee and ultimate) and am always down to work off-campus at the coffee shops and libraries I have pinned on my Google Maps. Super excited to be in the pamilya with all of you!
